In this paper, we propose two heuristics, namely mMRC-1 and mMRC-2, to reduce the number of VTs required by the MRC to provide full coverage for single link/node failures, and hence, to decrease its operational complexity. Multiple Routing Configurations (MRC) is a widely studied MT-IPFRR technique. Multi Topology Routing based IP Fast Re-route (MT-IPFRR) technologies provide seamless forwarding of IP packets during network failures by constructing virtual topologies (VTs) to re-route the disrupted traffic. Real-time services require reliable and fault tolerant communication networks to support their stringent Quality of Service requirements. Therefore, we suggest an augmented fat-tree topology which allows LFAs to protect against all single link and node failures and against most double failures. None of them can be fully protected with LFAs. We consider realistic ring and mesh networks as well as typical topologies for data center networks. We further investigate the percentage of flows that can be protected, not protected, or even create loops in different types of failure scenarios. We propose an implementation with OpenFlow that requires only a single additional flow rule per switch. We suggest a method for loop detection so that loops can be avoided without decreasing protection coverage. In this work, we propose to apply LFAs to OpenFlow-based networks. Avoiding those LFAs decreases the protection coverage even further. Secondly, some LFAs cause loops in case of node or multiple failures. Firstly, some flows cannot be protected due to missing LFAs, i.e., this concept does not provide full protection coverage, which depends on network topology. They are simple but suffer from two drawbacks. Loop-Free Alternates (LFAs) are a local fast-reroute mechanism defined for IP networks.

You’ll really struggle to push it beyond the five-day barrier, and the lack of a battery status warning makes it all too easy to not realise it’s run out of power. The Lift will get you through five days, which is about the average battery life you can expect from most activity trackers – although the likes of the Misfit Shine (one year) and the Jawbone UP24 (two weeks) can go much further. If the goal of the Lift is to get you to think more about posture, we’re not sure it does and needs to do much more to take advantage of its most interesting feature. What we did find is that even during those coaching sessions, we felt like we were correcting our posture to stop the buzzing, but on occasions it just didn’t seem to register, no matter how much we sat up and straightened those shoulders. It’s difficult to really know how accurate the posture monitoring is, as there’s no other product to really compare it to. Thankfully, there’s a new alert to offer something in line with the Garmin Vivofit’s inactivity bar or even the Jawbone UP24’s vibration alarms, to do a much better job of giving you a nudge during the day. Prior to the latest update, when you’re not using the coaching session, the lack of any form of prompt to correct things is odd. Against the Jawbone UP24, step count and distance covered were in the same ballpark, but information just doesn’t feel meaningful when you get back to reviewing progress. From an activity-tracking perspective, we were left a bit sceptical about the data gathered, especially when we found it tracking movement inside a car on occasions. Using the Lift is a little disappointing, if we’re being honest. Amazingly, it costs $19.99, which seems a ludicrous amount to spend to view data away from your phone. Lumo has since introduced a new desktop application for Windows and Mac, although that requires purchasing an additional dongle, similar to the one you have to use to sync Fitbit data to a desktop computer. While Lumo claims to offer personalised recommendations to help fit more activity into your day, we’ve seen no evidence in our time using it. There’s no third-party app support or social sharing to speak of, either. When the coaching session ends, it’s not all that easy to find out where the data goes and how it’s used to make improvements. Throughout that session, the sensor will buzz when your posture drops and won’t stop buzzing until you correct it. They allow you to set up timed posture monitoring, whether it’s for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, one hour or four hours. Everything feels very general and casual.Ĭoaching sessions are the Lumo Lift’s big play here. It’ll simply tell you whether you’ve been slouchy or your posture’s been remarkable. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really break down activities such as running, cycling or gym, instead giving those periods of exercise an ‘active’ score. Which can also be viewed in the menu tab. Tapping the posture data circle generates a log of your good posture hours, and the active circle provides your step count versus step goal, along with distance and calorie count.Ī tap on the small arrow below the circles brings up posture data broken down into hours, The first is there to indicate posture state and the second to illustrate how active you’ve been. Once inside, the misty blue user interface is dominated by two large circles. Syncing with the Lift is done over Bluetooth 4.0, and it’s a pretty simple process getting everything set up. An airbase which is not Smart Constrained or No-Collided is laggy. An airboat floating in mid-air through hoverballs isn't productive. It's pretty easy to think about what is laggy and what isn't. Other people like to play the game as much as you should if you're randomly killing people or abusing/exploiting, chances are people are going to get you banned or get revenge. (Actually, there is a flaw if you use it on a prop that's constrained to the world, it never actually finishes constraining.) It's slow, but it's extremely accurate, not buggy, and has amazing results. This has no flaws, but it does a lot of thinking. It's not like Smart Weld which can sometimes be abused and select other people's props. It's not like Multi NoCollide, which sometimes forgets to take the color off of selected props. Not only is it extremely useful, but it has additional constraints and angle snapping (so no more frustration from failure to actually get right angles). Easy Precision - Basically, put a Superman cape on all the Easy Tools and you have this thing. This is great when you want to be precise as it helps keep accuracy and making your contraptions look neat, organized, and professional. It allows you to look at a prop and a grid will show up (if you're close enough) and you can hold E to snap to a point on the grid. Other addons that help out a lot include: The SBMP is also called "spacebuildmodelpackalpha2" which works for spacebuild 2. Make sure to look inside all of the readme's for specific directions. zip to download, and extract to your addons folder. You can find the links to them at the SVN Links page. There are more svn's than just Wiremod and PHX3, like spacebuild 3, wire extras, GCX (Garry's Combat), and Stargate. Make sure the target location is garrysmod/addons/phx3 and click okay.In the SVN location, paste this address.Right click in empty space in that folder and hit SVN Checkout. These are props of all kinds which follow a standard building unit not followed by most other building props such as XQM (other than Tiled, which comes with the SVN). Note: This addon is now included with vanilla Gmod.Make sure the target folder is your garrysmod/addons/ folder, NOT a garrysmod/addons/wiremod/ folder. It tells you the username anonsvn and the password anonsvn as well as an autolink to make the Wiremod SVN automatically download/update to your PC. Go to this page: Wiremod SVN Download Guide Scroll down and download the appropriate one for you. Now there is a very, very easy way to get this. It is so useful, it has it's own website which actually nets revenue for a 'free' project. People who have this have hundreds if not thousands more building potentials than those who don't. Basically look at the links for a SVN but if it doesnt have it check For example if you look for Ha3's sharp eye mod you wont find it in the SVN links but if you look at and search for Sharpeye it will say it has a SVN. Also be aware that some SVN's are not in the Gmod Svn links if you do not find it in there look on for a link to the svn or wait for someone to post it. Here are two SVN addons that are very important and how to install them. Basically they are programs that download the latest version of a certain addon, and you can update it regularly from your desktop without checking online for updates all the time. If you have no addons folder just make one in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\(STEAMUSERNAME)\garrysmod\garrysmod There is a folder in this folder called addons. The location of the garrysmod folder is as follows:Ĭ:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\ \garrysmod\garrysmod\ The best place to get addons is Garry's Mod Folder Addons add further features to your copy of the game, such as useful tools, NPCs, weapons, vehicles, or construction models. In your Gmod career you'll most likely use addons.

The most popular articles about how to get bob in slap battles Image for keyword: how to get bob in slap battles All you’re trying to do is collect as few bullheads as possible over each round. If you are unable to, or don’t wish to play a high card, you may play a low card and swipe a stack of your choice, leaving your card available to start a new stack. If you place the 6th card in the row then you have to collect the row and with that all those pesky bullheads. This is resolved from lowest played card to highest. But crucially you must also place it on the pile that your card is closest to, so if you play a 58, and the top cards are 80, 78, 42, and 12, then you will need to place the card on the 42 stack. The way the game works is pretty straight forward, you play a card and it must be placed in a pile in ascending order, so higher than the card before. The pesky 55 has seven bullheads so once that sucker is in play, you’ll be trying to seriously avoid picking up that pile. The multiples fives and tens have more and doubles like 22 or 33 have more still. The cards run from 1 to 104 and all the cards have at least one bullhead icon on them. This is a card game about not collecting Bullheads. Wolfgang Kramer ~ Age 8+ ~ 2-10 Players ~ 45 mins This version is definitely sticking on my shelves for a while, it can be played with little brain power and when time is short. This even if it is extended will still be a quick game. They need to get a taste of the game but slogging through a 90 min full game where you are playing your own game as well as advising them on theirs is a tough call. Definitely it is a better way to teach modern board games to parents. This is a bus game rather than a train game, and in terms of the gameplay it is pretty much exactly the same as the big box game but quicker, smaller and cheaper. But the ten minute version is a lot easier to get to the table than its bigger brother and it’s not much to ask to play a ten minute game. However my partner in crime does not like it at all, so it does not see much table time. It reminds me of a game I used to play as a kid called Travel the World where you had to travel between cities according to some little ticket cards you collect. Players then sum their points, scoring points for the routes that they've claimed during the game, the destination tickets that they've completed (by connecting the two locations on a ticket by a continuous line of their taxis), and the tourist attractions that they've reached with their taxis.I really like Ticket to Ride, I enjoy the simple set collection and route making. Players take turns until someone has no more than two taxis in their supply, then each player takes one final turn, including the player who triggered the end of the game. On a turn, you either draw two transportation cards from the deck or the display of five face-up cards (or you take one face-up taxi, which counts as all six colors in the game) or you claim a route on the board by discarding cards that match the color of the route being claimed (with any set of cards allowing you to claim a gray route) or you draw two destination tickets and keep at least one of them. Ticket to Ride: New York features the familiar gameplay from the Ticket to Ride game series - collect cards, claim routes, draw tickets - but on a scaled-down map of Manhattan that allows you to complete a game in no more than 15 minutes.Įach player starts with a supply of 15 taxis, two transportation cards in hand, and one or two destination tickets that show locations in Manhattan (and Brooklyn). We find that wave-packet effects are relevant for the hierarchy determination up to nearly two orders of magnitude above the current experimental lower limit on the size, noting that there is no theoretical consensus on the expectation of this value. Here, we report both the JUNO experiment’s ability to determine the hierarchy orientation in the presence of a finite wave packet and its simultaneous sensitivity to size of the wave packet and the hierarchy. Unfortunately, this sensitivity may weaken the experiment’s ability to measure the orientation of the neutrino mass hierarchy for currently allowed values of the wave-packet size. Given JUNO’s high expected statistics, long baseline (∼53 km), and excellent energy resolution, its sensitivity to the size of the wave packet is expected to be quite strong. Here, we consider the electron antineutrino wave packet and decoherence in the context of the nuclear reactor-based experiment JUNO. The finite size of a neutrino wave packet at creation can affect its oscillation probability.
In contemplating the many frustrating issues with Yelp, I’ve long wondered if it would be possible to determine whether a given review would be more or less likely to be filtered out by Yelp’s algorithm. I’ve had to deal with Yelp issues when working with clients, and have written about Yelp in the past (see my article on “ Dealing With Fake Reviews on Yelp”). Why is the review above written by a user with 52 friends and 5 reviews filtered out, while the one below makes the cut? If you take some time to scroll through a few Yelp pages, you’ll see reviews left by people who have written 1 review and don’t even have a profile image, while reviews from more established Yelp users end up in the dustbin. What actually determines whether a review is flagged by Yelp’s filtering algorithm? That’s a problem, because the vagueness of this process could provide sufficient cover to conceal bias or unethical behavior on Yelp’s part. While Yelp at least admits that reviews may be filtered out simply because the reviewer isn’t a frequent Yelp user, there’s still a lot that’s unclear. Yelp says that roughly 25% of all user reviews are not recommended by the algorithm. However, some reviews are filtered simply because the reviewer is inexperienced, not attuned to the tastes of most of Yelp’s users, or other concerns that have nothing to do with whether the Yelp users’ recounting of their experience is accurate. But these reviews are hard to find, and they don’t contribute to the business’s Yelp rating or review count.Īccording to Yelp, their algorithm chooses to not recommend certain reviews because it’s believed that the flagged review is fake, unhelpful, or biased. If a Yelp visitor chooses to dig deep and read them, they can. “Not recommended reviews” are reviews that have been filtered out by Yelp and not counted. Let’s find out if that’s true or not.įor those who aren’t aware, if you scroll down to the bottom of a business’s Yelp page, you’ll see light gray text that says “X other reviews that are not currently recommended.” And you’re probably assuming that this is because you’re not paying for Yelp’s PPC services. (If you’re not paying attention to your reviews, you should be-digital PR is a pretty significant facet of Internet marketing.) And if that’s the case, then you’ve probably fumed over every positive review that’s been condemned to the purgatory known as Yelp’s “not currently recommended” section. If you’re a business owner or manager, there’s a decent chance that you’ve spent some time obsessing over your Yelp reviews. Why does this happen, and what can be done about it? Business owners are often frustrated to find positive reviews from their customers filtered out by Yelp.
